YOUR NEXT
CHAPTER ON THE WATER.
Two dates. The same shared passion.
Find your week in Trianda.
01 / THE SPOT
WIND. WATER.
ROOM TO PROGRESS.
The Meltemi brings wind to the bay, often building through the day. Lighter conditions offer time to find your feet, while windier sessions bring speed, chop and plenty of opportunities to improve your skills.
Whether you’re working on your first planing runs or smoother gybes, there’s plenty to enjoy here. Conditions vary from day to day, and we’ll help you find the right setup and focus for your level.

02 / THE CENTRE
PROCENTER RHODOS
JÜRGEN NIENS.

The main centre sits right on the beach in front of the Blue Horizon Hotel. With equipment rental and storage for your own gear, it’s an easy base for your time on the water.
The friendly, helpful staff have years of experience and know the spot inside out. Whether you need advice on your equipment or a hand getting ready, the team is always happy to help. A rescue service provides support during your sessions.
Need help choosing a board or planning storage for your own equipment? Get in touch and I’ll coordinate with the centre.

03 / AFTER THE SESSION
STAY CLOSE. ENJOY TRIANDA.
You don’t have to go far after sailing. Local tavernas, restaurants, cafés and shops are within walking distance of the surf station.
Enjoy Greek food, find a table by the sea or stop at Cake Box for coffee and something sweet. In the evening, meet up with other surfers or take it easy after a full day on the water.
The Surfhouse, directly behind the station, is a convenient option if you want to stay close to the spot. There are also other places to stay nearby, making it easy to keep your week simple and relaxed.
04 / GOOD TO KNOW
FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS.
What happens if there is no wind?
No wind? No problem! We make the most of every day. If the conditions don't allow us to windsurf, we'll use the time for equipment demonstrations, technique workshops, theory sessions, video analysis and answering your questions. Depending on the conditions, we might even head out for a SUP session. There's always something to learn and improve!
What skill level do I need to join the camp?
Our coaching camp is designed for intermediate windsurfers who want to improve their technique and take their riding to the next level.
You should already be comfortable sailing in a harness and footstraps, with good control of your board. Being able to sail upwind is helpful, but you don't need to know how to gybe yet – that's exactly what we're here to work on!
What is included in the coaching price?
The coaching package includes five days of coaching, individual feedback, video analysis, technique presentations, simulator demonstrations and practical exercises on and off the water.
We'll also organise group evenings and social activities, creating a great atmosphere where we can share experiences, have fun and enjoy our time together beyond windsurfing.
Is windsurf equipment included, or do I need to rent it separately?
Windsurf equipment is not included in the coaching price and needs to be rented separately.
You can rent high - quality equipment directly from Procenter Rhodos. I'm happy to help you choose the right equipment and put you in touch with the rental centre before the camp.
How warm is the water in Rhodes in June?
In early June, the water temperature in Rhodes is typically around 21 – 23°C, with pleasant summer temperatures on land.
A shorty or thin wetsuit is recommended, especially on windier days. Depending on your personal preference and the weather, boardshorts may also be comfortable.
What wind conditions can I expect in Rhodes?
Rhodes is one of Europe's well - established windsurfing destinations, known for its reliable summer winds.
During June, the combination of the Meltemi and local thermal winds often creates excellent windsurfing conditions, with typical wind speeds around 16 – 25 knots.
These conditions offer great opportunities to improve your board control, planing technique and gybes. Of course, the wind can vary from day to day, but Rhodes is a fantastic location for progressing your windsurfing skills.
How does the video analysis work?
Video analysis is an important part of our coaching approach.
During your sessions, we'll record your windsurfing using different camera angles, including drone footage, GoPro recordings and cameras positioned on the beach.
I'll review and prepare the footage so we can go through it together, usually the following day. This allows us to identify small technical mistakes, understand how to correct them and put those improvements directly into practice during your next session.
Sometimes, even a small adjustment can make a huge difference!
Where does the coaching take place?
Our Windsurf Progression Camp takes place at Procenter Rhodos in Ialyssos, on the northwestern coast of Rhodes, Greece.
The centre offers excellent windsurfing facilities, a wide range of equipment and great conditions for improving your skills.
You'll receive all the necessary meeting details before the camp starts.
Is accommodation included, and where should I stay?
Accommodation is not included in the coaching price and needs to be booked separately.
I recommend staying at the Surfhouse near Procenter Rhodos. It offers a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, is close to the beach and is a great place to meet other windsurfers.
I'm happy to help you find the right accommodation and share recommendations before your trip.
Can I join the camp on my own?
Absolutely! In fact, joining on your own is a great way to meet new people who share your passion for windsurfing.
We'll spend plenty of time together, both on and off the water, learning from each other, sharing experiences and enjoying group activities in the evenings.
Whether you're travelling alone or with friends, you'll be part of a friendly and supportive group from day one.
What should I bring to the coaching camp?
Bring your own wetsuit, harness, boardshorts or swimwear, sunscreen and any personal windsurfing accessories you normally use.
Windsurf boards and sails can be rented separately at Procenter Rhodos.
And most importantly, bring your motivation, a positive attitude and plenty of good vibes! We're here to improve, enjoy the water and have a great time together.
Can I bring my partner if they don't windsurf?
Of course! Your partner is more than welcome to join us for our evening activities, group dinners and social gatherings, even if they don't participate in the windsurf coaching.
Our camps are not just about improving your windsurfing skills – they're also about meeting great people, sharing experiences and having an amazing time together, both on and off the water!
